Question about taking Miralax?
Well, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis a year ago when I was 18, and I now have to take another exam (colonoscopy) sigh... I was wondering for you who have had these, what does miralax taste like? I mean, I understand that you can take it with gatorade, or Crystal Light Lemonade, etc but I'm wondering if the drink will still have a nasty taste to it. Is it salty/sweet/sour? Or does it not have a taste to it at all? I've looked this up but have found contradicting reviews on it, so I'd thought I should just ask on here with my own question. Now for my first one I took this liquid (if you can call it that) and it was just SO thick and slimy that I couldn't keep it down, and it was just so horrific even with the extra gatorade in it. So for this one I told my doctor about it and he told me I can try Miralax for the alternative.

should I feed my puppy chappie?
my 4month pug X has an extremely sensitive tummy, she came to me on eukanuba which is what the lady i got her from fed her, very loose then really bad diorrhea, went to the vets and she was put on chicken and rice, she was fine in 2 days but i left her on that for about a week in which time she was doing solid poohs, after a week or so In slowly started mixing a spoon full of jame wellbeloved in but after 2 days of mixing that in she started with really bad diorrhea, i did percivere for a few days more though to give her chance to get used to it but it got to the pount she was bleeding from her bum. So back on chicken and rice, the vet also did a pooh sample, no worms, parasites or bugs. After a week of chicken and rice she was doing solid poohs again, and then thevet recommended hills, so gradually started mixing this in, and diarrhea again after a few days which still didnt settle after a week. The vet has said she is getting colitis from having a severe food sensitivity. She is back on chicken or mince turkey and rice and is fine, great stools. My stepmum recommended chappie as she had similar problems with her lurcher, which I'm willing to try but 1) it looks a bit cheap 2) does it solve sensitive tummy's in dogs like mine. If anybody has any suggestions on any other dog food they've had great success with or if you know how to feed a home made dog food, I dont mind doing this at all but worried that just chicken and rice isnt nutritional enough in the ling term. Ive tried mixing boiled carrots in but that does staright through undigested and make pooh softer. Any suggestions greatly appreciated, Im at my wits end and want the best for my dog. Any experiences on chappie graetly appreciated too. Thanks i really dont understand why someone just put on a thing about dating when i asked for advice on puppy diorrhea?????????????????? thanks lorraine, should i get the arden grange puppy or should i give adult sensitive but add my own fish or chicken meet for the extra protein while shes a pup? thanks for your answer
