I really need help helping my 15 month old fall to sleep at night.?
My son is a little over 15 months. He has asthma so we have always been scared to let him cry. There was always something that came up that put the sleep training on hold. Whether it was an ear infection, cold or breathing troubles. Lately we are spending countless hours helping him get to sleep. He will fall asleep being rocked, sung to, breast fed whatever. But the second you start to lift him over his crib rail he arches his back and screams. Then he stands up the second you lay him down also. I am at a loss. Is it alright for us to just let him cry until he gives up? The pulmonologist has cleared us for sleep training. He said other than the every so often flare up he is otherwise a very healthy little boy. But what method to choose? This is even happening in the middle of the night when he wakes up. Another thing that he does is he knows we all come running to help when he coughs. (We are worried about breathing issues) It seems as though he is doing this on purpose... This is NOT the place for your thoughts on sleep training. It is not about Ferberizing vs. not and so on. I am just interested if anyone else has had similar issues with their child and what they did to help their child. Thanks so much!

still having asthma issues after breathing treatment at urgent care center?
i've got asthma and i'd been having trouble breathing and chest pain and tightness for two days, i didnt have my inhaler so i went to an urgent care center and they gave me a nebulizer treatment and an Rx for a new handheld inhaler. its been several hours since then, i went back to work afterwards and used the handheld inhaler once since then. but now i'm home relaxing before bed and i'm having chest pains again. it feels like i can't breathe deeply and i keep coughing when i exhale or yawning every couple of minutes. i don't know if i should just take the little inhaler again or if something is really wrong. i don't usually have frequent problems with my asthma so this is kind of freaking me out.

Severe stomach pains?
For the past hour or two I have had a really bad stomach ache. It started out on the really low part of the right side of my pelvic area and moved up to around the area between my hip and belly button(closer to my hip) It is worse when I'm standing/sitting up. The only time it eases up is when I'm laying on my back with my knees bent and not moving, and its starting to hurt then too. It also hurts in my back a little bit on that side When I'm standing/sitting up its the worst pain I've ever had. It a burning, tearing, stabbing kind of pain. I have the WebMD app and I entered in my symptoms and it said appendicitis, but I'm not sure. I'm not running a fever, and I'm not really all that nauseous, it just hurts like really bad. Is it, or could it be appendicitis? Or something less serious? I recently got over being ill. Small fever, headache, general sick feeling. I only had a fever for a day and advil brought it down fast(it was around 99° -100.2°) All I have now is a cough and I'm a little sneezy. I'm 17 years old, 5'2-5'3 and I weigh around 120ish pounds. I have a history of asthma and recently started the drug Trileptal for bipolar disorder(half a pill at bedtime and it makes me itchy) If that helps.
