Healthy Living Tips
March 2010: This is the most important site update ever posted. For as long
as this site has been on line, the theme has been that one has choices, and these choices determine in many cases
how healthy you can be. But the choices have often been impractical. Most of us simply are not wired to accept many
of the lifestyle changes required.
Since then, as your webmaster, we have learned of technology and practices that have been used in
Japan for over 30 years, and the Japanese have a much longer longevity than us in the USA. Why? Because first they
practice common preventative disease and health techniques.
The very first of these is to control and maintain their body pH. This is science not widely taught
in American medical schools. They also recognize that the body is 70%+ water, and that most water available today,
whether it is city tap water or even bottled water lacks the properties to properly hydrate the human body. It's
one of the reasons that the first thing that happens to people when they go to the hospital is a saline (saltWATER)
IV is started.
So.. what is the simple tip for healthy living? CHANGE YOUR WATER, CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
Here are two very vital links you simply must click on. The first one will get you a free ebook
download on balancing the body pH. The second supplies more information.
Each site has a link to a source to a distributor that can provide you with a very simple machine
that will easily install on any kitchen counter and start you with an endless supply of "the right kind of water"..
and by the way, far cheaper than all the popular bottled waters.

So many times healthy living choices are not even a matter of conscious knowledge, or
certainly practice. Things such as over eating and not watching one's weight, or not eating a proper balance of
foods. Sometimes something as simple as not consuming enough water assures one of not living healthy.
One of the most popular subjects people come to this site for is information on how to
lose weight and maintain that ideal weight. We'll have some information on this site on losing
weight, but we'd also like to suggest our companion specialized weight loss site you can find here.
On the other hand, there are many people with genetic dispositions toward not having healthy
living, and no amount of healthy living habits can correct those issues. But many can certainly mitigate the
symptoms. If one has natural allergies, for example, one can take steps to avoid the allergy triggers.

We know clearly that avoiding smoke, both direct, and second hand, can reduce the risk of lung
diseases, not the least of which is Cancer.
As your article author, I'll come right out and share my viewpoint: I respect
the medical profession and respect the fact that in some cases, medical and phamaceutical intervention is the only
reasonable choice. But at the same time, we have an admitted bias that many drugs treat symptoms and not the
causes; they in many cases do not work toward a cure and the direction of true healthy living, but to create an
acceptable condition. Often the drugs bring side effects that carry as much risk for a new problem as they do
promise the cure to "healthy living". When they do this, they set up in many cases a lifetime dependency on that
drug, and often withdrawal is again a problem which causes a entirely new set of conditions.
With acknowledgement that many of the holistic medicines and herbs etc that promise healthy living
are in their own right some degree of quackery, the facts are that many alternative apporaches to healthy living,
both nutrional and herbal, both promote and cure the symptoms.. and causes.. of many so called diseases.
One must treat the entire scope with a great deal of care and knowledge and balance the two. It's
been said many times by many intelligent people , "Follow the money trail" and in doing so, a open minded
researcher might look at the tremendous profits drug companies make. They know that healthy living is one of the
top motivators for millions, and millions will spend money on a "cure". Do these "cures" have to be so expensive?
Not according to many books such as one by Dr. Gary Knull. IF cabbage, for example, could truly cure an ulcer,
would an investor back it as a means toward healthy living? Probably not.. there's no profit there!
In this web site, we'll be looking at a wide number of afflictions that keep many of us from
healthy living, and we'll bring together in one place a collection of articles and knowledge that will serve at
minimum as a starting point for the person interested in researching problems such as cancer, diabetes, skin care,
weight control, asthma, and a number of other afflictions.
We know now that certain steps can be taken to prevent diabetes, or at least delay its onset. We
know that certain cancers can be nearly prevented, or at least kept from speading if detected early.
We know that there are natural cures for acne and even asthma.. and they do not include paying the
pharmaceutical giants.

stress, or the absence thereof, to healthy living. Certainly I think all readers will agree we live in some of the
