Health News, Healthy Living and Cancer Control

Health News covers many topics. While the header shows a picture of doctors, this site is more about learning both healthy living habits and the ways to stay healthy. So many of the diseases in the index at the left can be cured without medicines, etc.We selected cancer contol as one of the main topics as there seems to be more of this every day.

Now our objective is not to diminish the medical profession in any way, but “health care” in so many cases is really “disease or illness” care, and the “care” as many times addresses first treating the symptoms and problems rather than either truly curing or preventing the problem. Part of this is economics driven. Health care, or “illness or disease care” in big business, and in the health insurance revision debates, it has been pointed out that this accounts for up to 1/7th of our GNP.

If you are looking for  health news or information on a specific condition, you do not need to read further but look to the left and click the topic.

On the other hand, it's equally true that there are many non medicinal treatments and cures for so many of the problems. One of the biggest examples is the weight loss industry. Weight loss can be accomplished in so many cases with diet and exercise. OK. So there are cases where high weight is due to a metabolic misfunction, and sometimes it takes a drug approach to address that, but for the majority of the over weight, you don't need drugs. Some therapy to adjust the mind might be in order.

It's even been said, and demonstrated, that common cancers can be both prevented and cured, in some cases by no more than changing the body pH. Now this can be done without drugs, but probably takes a lifestyle change. And speaking of lifestyle, it is exactly that which prevents so much of us from living a healthy living life. If you have one or more of the problems listed in the index to the left, visit the page or article. Each day due to current RSS feeds new information will be here, and in turn, advertisers appear based on the subject at hand.

Wrapping up the section on health news: Many of these advertisers have ways to address the problem you are having. In closing, this site is NOT meant to take the place of competent medical advice, but as you seek that, also be aware that the person or industry provding the information and help has a definitely biased, and often financially influenced opinion. It never hurts to get all the information you can, and remember the old saying, An Ounce of Prevention is Worth A Pound of Cure.

wonder how clegg and cameron will defend this?
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/health-news/2011/02/18/governments-false-nhs-promises-laid-bare-as-1-000-job-losses-announced-115875-22930883/ Mr Clegg, was pictured with his wife Miriam and newborn Miguel, on election leaflets, stating: ?Every vote for the Liberal Democrats is a vote to keep our NHS safe.? And he vowed he would ?use any power and influence to do anything I can to help the NHS and do anything that stops anything that would threaten this maternity ward.? Mr Cameron also toured Kingston to shore up support for billionaire local MP Zac Goldsmith a month before the election. He vowed to ?keep investing in the hospital?. Jerpy JJ, you say the Mirror is full of lies, so maybe you would like to point out a few lies and add some links to them. When the Mirror pointed out about a leaked email that said the Tories were going to increase VAT to 20% and blame it on the finances being worse than they thought, they were spot on. The finances were actually £8BN better than they thought but they rose VAT. They then had the story of Cameron talking to the Nurses For Reform group that are after privatisation of much of the NHS, Cameron said he talks to loads of people, but here they go down the privatisation route where private companies will get 14% more than the NHS for the same treatment and will be allowed to pay a small fee to use NHS equipment. Just because the Mirror supports Labour, that doesn't mean what it says is lies, it just publishes the things that Torie rags won't publish for obvious reasons. This story, by the way, is also printed in other papers, so open your eyes, or perhaps you just prefer to be
